Second suit against CHSRA dropped by landowners after settlement

A lawsuit by landowners against the California High-Speed Rail Authority has been dropped after a settlement was reached, the two sides saying dismissal of the case was in their best interest. "This second settlement is another step in moving high-speed rail forward," authority CEO Jeffrey Morales. Meanwhile, the CHSRA says construction will start this summer on the first section of the high-speed rail line.
