6 finalists chosen in water-kiosk design competition

Hopkins Architects is one of six firms that are finalists for a water-kiosk design competition to recreate the humble water fountain into a piece of art. The firm's design consists of precast concrete that "emerges from the ground to create a ceramic shelter." Ken Hood of Hopkins said, "Our kiosk aims to make the dispensing of water a celebrated urban event which will draw people together and add drama to the public realm in London."
