N.M.'s pain management efforts may focus on prescription use

New Mexico's next efforts to improve pain management and reduce drug abuse may focus on raising public awareness about safely taking and storing prescription medications. Other recommendations to the state have included increased access to the opioid overdose drug Narcan, drop boxes for disposing of unused prescriptions and more money for substance abuse and prevention programs.
