Tokyo's Shirokane House touts all-concrete angular facade

Architectural studio MDS has designed the Shirokane House, a three-story residential unit in Tokyo built on a small lot. The facade is made of concrete, and there is an upward protruding angle to bring in light and create more space for the upper floors. Concrete walls around the house have horizontally textured surfaces and are also left exposed both inside and out.
