Senate committee holds hearing on terrorism risk insurance

The federal government's role in terrorism risk insurance will be discussed Wednesday at a hearing by the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., has said he supports the creation of a permanent backstop rather than renewing it every few years.
