Yahoo! contest puts ad pros under user scrutiny

To help ad professionals better understand the user-generated trend, Yahoo! is sponsoring "The Big Shot in Cannes" contest, which seeks submissions from agencies of "green" multimedia spots promoting ways to improve the world. Ads will be reviewed by users, who will select finalists to be evaluated by a panel of top agency creatives. Prizes for the top three spots will include a trip to the June 17 through 23 International Advertising Festival in Cannes, France.
