Aetna delays plan to halt colonoscopy-sedation payments

Aetna declared it will postpone a plan to stop payments for anesthesiologists to administer a drug called propofol during colonoscopies. The company said it would wait for the FDA to clear more "patient-friendly" forms of sedation before it implements the policy.
