Survey: U.K. marketers not buying social-media trend

Marketing executives in the U.K. are less aggressive than their U.S., Canadian and French counterparts when it comes to utilizing social media as a marketing tool, according to a survey by TNS Media Intelligence/Cymfony. Fewer than one in five U.K. firms said social media is key to keeping current, compared to nearly 50% of U.S. companies, the report found.
