Reviews, promotions can get shoppers buying

About half of consumers plan to cut back on online spending this year, but a majority of those shoppers say promotional e-mails and other Web resources would help persuade them to buy, JupiterResearch found. Nearly 90% of shoppers say their preferred sources when researching purchases are retailer Web sites and stores.
