Interpublic's net income rose 96% in 2011

Interpublic Group's 2011 net income was up 96% to $551.5 million on a 7.8% rise in revenue to $7 billion, the company reported. Executives projected 3% organic grown for 2012 and lauded the performance of the MRM, Huge and R/GA agencies, pointing out that all regions but Europe performed well last year.
