U.S. consumer confidence continues to climb

Consumer confidence in the U.S. economy is continuing to grow even though many Americans still face significant personal financial challenges, according to responses to the latest Thompson Reuters/University of Michigan Survey of Consumers. Consumer confidence rose to 75.3 in February, according to the survey, a gain of 0.4% over the previous month.
