Competitive market means high turnover for cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is proving to be a lucrative field for those with the necessary skill sets, but high compensation levels and a shortage of qualified experts are making it hard to keep workers around for long, a report finds. A poll of security professionals conducted by found that more than a third of those involved in cybersecurity plan to change jobs in 2013, while pay disparities between the public and private sector are making it difficult for the Defense Department to compete for specialists.
