Courts face the possibility of sequestration cuts

U.S. courts in New York are preparing for the automatic budget cuts that could take effect Friday and lead to employee furloughs. "It certainly is going to result in a cut in services if we have to go to furloughs. It's going to be much slower at the courthouse," Southern District Executive Edward Friedland said.
