Italy's center-left reaches out to populist as eurozone watches

The leader of Italy's pro-austerity center-left coalition is reaching out to populist Beppe Grillo, who upset Italy's political landscape and muddied the outlook for the eurozone in last weekend's elections. Pier Luigi Bersani called on Grillo to join talks on forming a coalition government. The apparent hope is to avoid another round of elections and the possibility of a landslide victory for Grillo.
