NYC's newest LEED Gold-certified building breaks ground

The ground-breaking ceremony for New York City's latest addition to its collection of green office buildings was held this week. The design of the 28-story 7 Bryant Park tower -- slated to be certified LEED Gold -- boasts a green roof, "utilizes energy-saving mechanical systems and co-generation," and uses low-iron insulating glass to improve thermal performance "while maximizing transparency and visible light transmittance."
