Sequester would delay commercial crew plan

If sequestration goes through Friday, NASA will cut spending on its commercial crew program, its space technology program and on future launches and research grants. Those are just some of the areas that will be affected by the cuts, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden says. Others include Earth science missions and an atomic clock project. The commercial crew cuts would be felt by private industry partners as early as July, Bolden says.
