Facebook responds to ads mistakenly reaching teens

Parents have reported that their teens are being exposed to inappropriate nude modeling and gun ads on Facebook, one of which opened up teen profiles to adult strangers. Facebook has since disabled Ilikeq ads for users under 18. One difficulty for Facebook in policing its million advertisers is that teens can lie about their age when joining. In addition, advertisers can mislabel the purpose of their ads.
