Hiring decisions rarely depend on college pedigree, survey suggests

Less than 10% of business leaders say that where a candidate went to school is "very important," a Gallup survey finds. "[I]f you majored in engineering in Princeton and can’t do the job, what does it matter?" said Brandon Busteed, executive director of Gallup Education.
