Poll: Some docs embrace apps, others worry about lack of regulation

Data from a QuantiaMD poll showed 37% of responding physicians have prescribed use of a health application to their patients, while 42% said they will not do so because of inadequate regulatory oversight. In addition, 37% of respondents said they don't know what apps are available, and 21% cited the large volume of patient data generated as a reason not to recommend apps.
