Report: Digital video ads on long-form content up 86% in Q4

Digital ads on long-form video content were up 86% in the fourth quarter of 2013, compared with a year earlier, according to a FreeWheel TV report. In addition, ads made up half of the video content tracked by FreeWheel in Q3. "Advertising will follow the viewer growth. ... The Internet is mimicking TV," said Doug Knopper, FreeWheel's co-founder and co-CEO.
