Survey: Hand sanitizer not available at all points of care

Alcohol-based hand sanitizer was not provided at all points of care in about a fifth of 168 U.S. health care facilities, according to a survey reported in the American Journal of Infection Control. Researchers found that only about half of the facilities allotted funds for hand hygiene training.
