Hotels providing creature comforts for road warriors

Many hotels are creating homier lodging quarters for business travelers on extended stays, which make up a growing number of guests, according to an Atlanta consulting firm. The number of extended-stay guests rose 9% last year and improved bedding, room art and pet policies are greeting them at hotels such as InterContinental Hotels' Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites brands, Marriott's ExecuStay, Residence Inns and Hilton's Homewood Suites.
