Column: Give airlines one more chance before passing law

USA TODAY columnist Bill McGee outlines a plan that allows airlines, passengers, Congress and organizations to tell their sides of the recent airline woes that left passengers stranded on runways and at random airports but stops short of passing a law regulating the airlines. McGee's proposal would allow the airlines to police themselves for a few months, then, if they haven't cleaned up the mess, Congress should take action.
