Costa Rica boosts security for cruise ship's return

Carnival Cruise Lines will resume port calls to a Costa Rican town where a foiled attempted robbery of cruise line passengers led to the death of a would-be-mugger. "We did drop it as a port of call last week," said Carnival spokesman Tim Gallagher. "We had meetings with port officials and law enforcement officers and were given assurances they were stepping things up to improve security so we'll resume calls."
