Study: Curry ingredient could reduce heart enlargement

Curcumin, an ingredient in the curry spice turmeric, helped reduce heart enlargement and lower the risk of heart failure in mice, a new study found. The findings suggest that curcumin-based treatments could provide a safe and inexpensive option for patients with enlarged hearts.
