3 House lawmakers issue resolution to veto EPA's GHG rules

Three House lawmakers issued a joint resolution that would apply the Congressional Review Act to repeal the Environmental Protection Agency's ruling that greenhouse gases endanger human health and welfare. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., Rep. Ike Skelton, D-Mo., and Rep. Jo Ann Emerson, R-Mo., said that the EPA's proposed GHG regulations would be unwieldy and crippling to the economy. The trio in February sponsored a separate bill that seeks to amend the Clean Air Act to block the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases.
