Kentucky commission finds setting humane standards is tough

Kentucky's Livestock Care Standards Commission is reportedly discovering that setting humane-care standards for the state's food animals is tougher than it sounds. The commission, created last year, is charged with setting and regulating standards for about 85,000 farms ranging from small backyard operations to large agricultural operations.
