Skype launches expanded services for teachers

The growing use of Skype by teachers and students has prompted the company to update and enhance its services. The new Skype in the Classroom will allow educators to post their profile, interests and other information as part of a directory of educators looking for opportunities to share resources, tips and classroom exchanges. The service could eventually help link teachers and classrooms with outside speakers, such as experts, authors and other professionals.
