Report: Student-loan delinquencies rising

Thirty-five percent of student-loan borrowers under age 30 are at least 90 days overdue on payments, an increase from the 26% reported in 2008 and 21% in 2004, according to a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Almost 47% of borrowers have balances between $10,000 and $50,000, up from 38% in 2005, the report says.
