Sequester will prompt FAA to close 168 air-traffic towers

The Federal Aviation Administration has notified 168 air-traffic control towers operated by contractors of pending closures on April 1. The towers that will be closed handle around 5.8% of commercial airline traffic in the U.S. The FAA is tasked with budget cuts due to the sequester.
