ACC will track chemical laws abroad to help U.S. chemical producers

As overseas chemical regulations evolve, the American Chemistry Council plans to monitor changes and work with governments to ensure U.S. producers can participate in global markets, said Greg Skelton, ACC senior director for global affairs. "We want to ensure our members can ship product across borders without extra costs ... and we will reach out to other manufacturing groups as well to help us see regulations are not onerous," he said
