Developers in Miami are rushing to construct towers that will be at least 1,000 feet-tall. Swire Properties hopes to build a 1,049 foot-tall mixed-use tower on Brickell Avenue and Tibor Hollo's One Bayfront Plaza has been approved at a height of 1,010 feet. Hollo is seeking the Federal Aviation Administration's approval to increase that to 1,049 feet. Both skyscrapers would eclipse Jeff Berkowitz's planned 1,000 foot-high SkyRise Miami.
