Tax proposal could spur changes to executive pay

A House Republican has proposed that companies no longer be allowed to take income-tax deductions on executives' salaries that exceed $1 million. The proposal would also place limits on deferred compensation. Marc Trevino, a lawyer who specializes in compensation, says the proposal could cause companies to rethink their pay packages.
