Texas school shuts stadium because of concrete cracks, structural issues

Extensive cracking in the concrete of the stadium concourse at Allen High School in Allen, Texas, as well as the discovery of other structural issues, has forced school officials to shut the stadium for the next 18 months. There are several factors that could cause the concrete cracks, such as weather or soil shifting, said Ben Pogue, president and CEO of Pogue Construction, the company that built the stadium. Pogue is already working on solutions to resolve the issues.
