Deere looks to water for growing business:

Deere & Co. wants not only to be known for helping to plant and harvest crops, but also for helping to water them -- efficiently and in an eco-friendly way. Michael McGrady, president of John Deere Water Technologies, notes that 70% of the world's fresh water is used in agriculture and that better irrigation techniques will be the key to sustainability as traditional sources run dry. "I'm anxious that we are not moving fast enough, with what is going on in the United States and the world with water issues," he says.
