Study: Vitamin supplements don't lower lung cancer risk

Vitamin supplements do not reduce a person's risk of developing lung cancer, and vitamin E supplements can actually raise the risk, a study of more than 77,000 people found. Researchers say that while vitamin-rich foods seem to be associated with a reduced risk of cancer, vitamins in packaged pills do not appear to have the same effect.
