Study: Children get 16% of daily calories from added sugar

Data from the National Center for Health Statistics finds children are getting 322 calories a day from added sugar, or about 16% of the calories they consume each day. The study found 59% of added-sugar calories come from foods and 41% from beverages, with about 63% of the calories from added sugars consumed at home.
