Marketers Cite Success Of Pop-Up Ads

Pop-up ads are doing their jobs, analysts say. "Advertisers have seen favorable results, that's why they're becoming the norm," says Craig Colder, vice president at New York Times Digital. One Web designer says some end-users don't like pop-ups because they don't feel in control of the ads, which show up on top of or under the Web pages being viewed.
