Entrepreneurs should beware of happiness, says Jean-René Halde, president of the Business Development Bank of Canada. Early success can lead entrepreneurs to coast to a comfortable retirement, instead of striving to have a larger impact. "We're happy quite often when we are in the middle of the pack, when we should be striving to be the best, the biggest, the most innovative," he says.
