Performance of oxygen conservers inconsistent in active COPD patients

A U.S. study showed that some oxygen conservers, which are linked to portable oxygen cylinders used by patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, may not perform consistently when patients are active. A company that makes the conservers said there are roughly 40 conserver models on the market, and the performance of four cannot be generalized to the entire market.
