Review: Google education tools are a boon for schools

The K-12 edition of Google Apps Education Edition offers useful Web-based tools for administrators, educators, parents and students, according to this review in Edutopia magazine. One New York City school replaced an outdated e-mail system with Gmail accounts, and a school in Minnesota used Google Apps to increase collaboration among students in and out of the classroom.
