Southeastern Louisiana is ready for hurricanes, survey finds

A survey by researchers from Louisiana State University found that most residents in the southeastern region of the state have adequate knowledge about storms and have devised an evacuation plan in case a hurricane strikes. Residents likely to evacuate are those who have evacuated before and are overly concerned about storms, the poll found.
