68% of Europeans would prefer to die at home

A population-based survey in the European Union found 68.2% of people would want to die at home if they had advanced cancer. People over age 70 had the strongest preference for home death. Home care should be kept "at the heart of cancer end-of-life care," researchers from King's College London wrote in the Annals of Oncology.
