The CFO role is increasingly becoming about risk management, according to a survey by CFO Magazine. More than half of respondents have seen their risk-management duties increase, and roughly 75% of companies have put more focus on the issue over the past two years. CFOs say their companies face risks from a variety of sources, even as the economy improves. Those risks include everything from changing workforces and currency fluctuations to the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
