FAA begins NextGen procedures at Atlanta, Charlotte airports

The Federal Aviation Administration has started implementing NextGen at airports in Atlanta and Charlotte, N.C. "The end result for travelers will be fewer delays, quicker flights and an even safer, greener flying experience," said Michael Huerta, acting FAA administrator.
