Kansas officials hope to expand financial-literacy curriculum

A Kansas high school is working to incorporate personal-finance lessons into a course required for all students, and officials hope to expand the financial-literacy initiative to schools statewide. Capital City Bank, the Kansas Bankers Association and the state's securities and banking commissioners are funding the program at Shawnee Heights High School.
