Social media education becomes mainstream

More universities and online education companies are offering social media education. The University of San Francisco, for instance, has launched an eight-week online course, after which participants earn an Advanced Social Media certificate. "People will either need to learn [social media skills] through formal training or through their networks or they will feel increasingly left out," said Pamela Tate, CEO of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.
