Volcker rule likely won't be ready by July, Bernanke says

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told U.S. lawmakers that regulators likely won't be ready to implement the Volcker rule by July, the deadline set by the Dodd-Frank Act. "We have a lot of very difficult issues to go through. So I don't know the exact date, but we'll obviously be working on it as fast as we can," he told the House Financial Services Committee.
