Colo. city council advances plan for urban renewal

The Fort Collins, Colo., City Council is pushing forward with a plan to develop the Midtown Urban Renewal Area, but councilors and residents say they do not support use of eminent domain. The area is about 660 acres, with more than 400 private properties and two tax increment financing districts.
