OU Kosher debuts Passover symbol

Kosher certification organization OU Kosher has added the OU Kitniyot symbol for food approved for "those who consume kitniyot on Passover." A kitniyot diet, followed by Sephardic but not Ashkenazic Jews, allows consumption of rice, soybeans and legumes during the eight days of Passover.
